Enhancing Veterinary Education and Access

The collaboration between Open Door Veterinary Collective (ODVC) and NectarVet aims to create a comprehensive framework that integrates educational resources into the NectarVet platform. This partnership focuses on improving access to veterinary care through joint initiatives and shared content.

Why This Partnership is Important

By educating clinics on effective client communication, ODVC empowers veterinary professionals to enhance their service delivery. The recent grant from Maddie’s Fund allows ODVC to support 500 clinics with $500 each, managed by MyBalto as an angel fund.

For every new customer that joins NectarVet, we will donate $500 to further support veterinary practices.

Key Features of the Partnership

Educational Resources

ODVC will provide templates and questionnaires designed to assist veterinary doctors in educating their clients effectively.

Content Integration

Agreed-upon content will be integrated into the NectarVet platform, with ownership remaining with ODVC. Initial materials include a client-facing handout and a Financial SOAP template.

Collaboration Expansion

ODVC will explore broader collaboration opportunities with MyBalto and Varidi to enhance the resources available to clinics.

Online Learning Library

NectarVet clinics will have access to the ODVC Online Learning Library at a discounted rate, featuring RACE-approved CE, treatment guides, and mental health support resources.

About Open Door Veterinary Collective

Open Door Veterinary Collective is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving access to affordable veterinary care through education, mentorship, and community-based support programs. The organization helps veterinary clinics implement sustainable “spectrum of care” models, offering practical solutions for financial conversations, flexible treatment options, and access-to-care initiatives. Open Door also provides continuing education resources for veterinary professionals and operates PetHelpFinder.org, a national resource connecting pet owners with low-cost veterinary services, financial assistance, spay/neuter programs, and pet wellness support. NectarVet is proud to partner with Open Door Veterinary Collective because we believe accessible care and sustainable practice go hand in hand — and that the best outcomes for patients start with empowering the teams who treat them.
