Southwest Veterinary Symposium 2025: Dates & Schedule

The Southwest Veterinary Symposium (SWVS) is right around the corner in 2025. The Southwest’s premier event for the veterinary field provides continuing education and networking opportunities.

Attendees can expect hands-on workshops, talks from industry leaders, interactive sessions, and a wide range of exhibitors offering the latest in veterinary medicine and practice management. 

How to Register for SWVS in 2025

Attendees can register for the Southwest Veterinary Symposium in 2025 in a few ways.

One option is to go onto the conference’s official website, swvs.org, and follow the directions to register online. 

Another is to register by mail or fax. 

Forms and instructions will be available in 2025.

Attendees can register for the whole symposium (four days) or a single day.

If you plan on going to SWVS, remember July 31. If you register before that date, early-bird discounts apply ranging from $250 to $490. Pricing is based on your professional role (e.g. veterinarian, technician, practice manager). After July 31, prices increase from $300 to $590.

Is It Free to Exhibit at SWVS? 

It is not free to exhibit at SWVS. Companies that sell veterinary products and services must pay a booth fee, which starts at $2,600. Nonprofits get a discount and pay a reduced rate of $500. 

First-time exhibitors must fill out the New Exhibitor Application. Returning exhibitors don’t need to submit another form. They only need to contact the SWVS staff at angie@swvs.org.

In 2025, SWVS will be held at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

What Is the Confirmed (So Far) Schedule for SWVS?

Continuing Education (C.E.) Schedule: Specific sessions start the afternoon of Thursday, September 25, and end at noon on Sunday, September 28.
